I made these mini match stick easels with little craft sticks that Pacon recently let me take for a spin. It took some careful glue work, but it worked! The flat sides really help make the glue hold. I’ve got no plans to do it as a class project as I think it’s rather advanced gluing for elementary kids, but I might save it for gifts or something. Love the built in color and the idea of a teeny, tiny art show though. Someday.
• Craft Match Sticks
• Craft glue
1. Glue two sticks together to make the bottom edge of the easel. Let dry for a few minutes.
2. Arrange two sticks and place under the two glued together to make what looks like an “A’. Let dry.
3. Place a large dot of glue on the back of the top of the “A”. Prop up with another stick and let dry.
