Triangle Popsicle Box

Triangle+Popsicle+BoxIf your students know how to make a square popsicle box, they might want to try this next. A bit more thought needs to be applied as the sticks must be laid down in a kind of spiral progression.

1. Make a triangle with three sticks, gluing them together at the ends. I prefer Alene’s craft glue, which sets pretty quickly.
2. Glue a new stick down on the side that will keep it evenly spaced from the layer below. Continue adding sticks in a spiraling fashion until it is as tall as desired. Let dry.
3. Cut sticks with a scissors or paper cutter to fill in the triangle as shown.

If Proctor and Gamble wishes to portray itself as a progressive company, I hope that it sees that people are starting to care what goes into their toiletries and lotions. Their hearing of the evidence against the chemicals that are currently used in many brands and they don’t like it especially in products for children. Please take a step in the right direction and show some concern for the Earth as well.
