Draw a Skull

Learn how to draw a skull, and use it for either Day of the Dead OR Halloween celebrations. Not to mention anatomy lessons.

Learning how to draw a skull may seem like a daunting task, given all the bones and teeth and sockets, etc. But if you just follow this tutorial to get the eyes, nose and mouth in place, you’ll have a pretty realistic drawing even before you get to the shading.

MATERIALS

DIRECTIONS

  1. PREP: Print a tutorial for each student.
  2. Fold the paper to create guidelines to follow.
  3. Follow the steps in the tutorial to draw the skull.
  4. Trace the drawing is traced with a black marker.
  5. Shade the art with black and gray crayons.
  6. Color the background with one or more colors.
