My new Chinese New Year Mural 2017 celebrates the Year of the Rooster. The first day of the New Year is on Saturday, January 28th. This mural is drawn and colored with the look of ancient tradition of Chinese paper cutting. These works were commonly made of red paper, as red is associated with festivities and happiness in their culture.
You can purchase this new template, which is made of 25 pages, in my PDF Shop for just $5. Have each student color in a page, and then tape it together from the back to make a large 36″ x 48″ mural. Or if you want a no-tape option, just take the one page version that is in the file to Staples or similar business. They have made black and white “draft” prints for me for about $10.
