MATERIALS

DIRECTIONS

PREP: Cut 9″ x 12″ paper in half to make 6″ x 9″ paper.

  1. Fold the paper in half both ways to make center crease lines. Draw a circle.
  2. Draw two eyes.
  3. Add triangle nose and mouth.
  4. Draw two ears and two paws that touch the cheeks.
  5. Add the opening of the pumpkin around the cat head and paws.
  6. Add the pumpkin shape below the opening.
  7. Draw five pumpkin section lines as shown.
  8. Older students may add the curved edge to the bottom (optional).
  9. Erase the smooth bottom edge of the pumpkin if you added curves.
  10. Draw two triangle eyes.
  11. Add a pumpkin mouth. Draw grass in the background.
  12. Trace all with a permanent black marker. Fill in with black and color the rest as you wish.
