Metal tooling art projects go great with Sharpie markers. Especially brush tip Sharpies. The points are perfect to the textured metal.
PREP: Cut metal tooling into 6″ x 5″ rectangles.
1. Students draw a large face on the tooling with a water base marker, which may be “erased” with a damp cloth if needed.
2. The tooling is placed on a piece of felt and the drawing is heavily traced with a pencil.
3. When complete, the tooling may be colored with the Sharpies on either side.
4. The tooling is taped to the center of a piece of card stock with a roll of masking tape.
