You can mix up your underwater watercolor painting projects by putting a tropical twist to things. I like that this fish has all the usual parts, just in different proportions for a more exotic look.
1. Students draw the fish and coral on watercolor paper with a pencil.
2. All the lines are traced with a permanent marker. The eye patch is also colored with the marker.
3. The coral is colored heavily with crayons. The fish gets orange and yellow details added. White bubbles are drawn.
4. The art is painted with orange and blue liquid watercolor paint.
