Materials to Draw Sonia
- Drawing Paper. This is the good stuff you can buy in bulk for a good price.
- Pencils. I like how this brand always makes nice dark lines.
- Black Marker. A permanent marker will give you a dark black color.
- Crayons. The larger packs are nice for more color choices.

How to Draw Sonia Sotomayer step by step

Start Sonia’s face with the bottom half as shown.

Draw the top, which follows the shape of her hair line.

Draw the eyes and the eyebrows. They sit just above the center line.

Draw Sonias’s nose and cheek lines.

Add her lips and the teeth line inside. Include more smile lines.

Draw Sonia’s hair around the outside of her head, including hair lines inside.

Add her neck and neckline, and then her robe.

Draw S-O-N-I-A in big block letters behind her head.

Trace the drawing with a black marker and color.
