Spider-Man Coloring Page with Easy Crayon Shading
This Spider-Man coloring page is a fun way for kids to practice a simple crayon shading technique while coloring one of their favorite superheroes.
The first step in learning how to shade is understanding how changing the pressure on a crayon can create different values. Coloring lightly makes a softer shade, while pressing harder creates a darker, stronger color. Those light and dark areas can help Spider-Man’s arms, legs, muscles, and costume look more rounded and three-dimensional.
Students can begin by filling in the larger spaces with light, even color. Next, they can press a little harder near the edges, underneath the arms, and around parts of the costume where shadows might appear. The colors do not need to blend perfectly. Even a small change in pressure can add depth and make the finished Spider-Man picture look more interesting.
What better place to practice crayon shading than with Spider-Man? Kids get an entertaining coloring activity while also learning an art skill they can use in future drawings and coloring pages.
Miles Morales Spiderman Coloring Page

Now Marvel Comic book fans have some help if they want to learn how to draw Miles Morales, one of the new Spider-Man heroes. Many find the fact that he’s just a kid, and not an angry cynic or un-relatable genius, part of his appeal. His Afro-Latino background is also a first in the comic book world.
