The tutorial below shows how easy it is to draw an ear from the side, and then add some shadows to give it form. Not only will students learn how to sketch something new, they’ll be using the Elements of Art too. After all, this rather realistic looking ear couldn’t be done without knowing how to use LINES to draw the SHAPE, and then change the VALUE by adding a darker skin crayon on top of the lighter one.
