- Pencils. I like how this brand always makes nice dark lines.
- Black Marker. A permanent marker will give you a dark black color.

Step by Step Directions
Time needed: 1 hour
Abe Lincoln Drawing
- Draw a shape which will be the head and the bottom edge of the beard.
- Add the inside lines shown for the hair and the beard.
- Draw an ear and add the outline of the hair on top.
- Add two eyes and the cheekbone. Erase the gray lines shown.
- Draw the two eyebrows, the nose and the mouth.
- Add small lines on the face to indicate some wrinkles.
- Start the jacket by drawing the lapel and the shoulders of the jacket.
- Finish the drawing with a bow tie, shirt collar and two vest lines.
- Trace the drawing with a marker and color it with crayons.
