Klimt Tree of Life from Kuwait
This amazing Tree of Life artwork comes all the way from the Middle East. It’s a testament to the beauty of random coloring.
Tree of Life Mural

Kristen D. wrote, “Hello, I just wanted to thank you so much for the brilliant tree project. I did this with my 5 year olds at Kuwait English School today and, although they didn’t follow the Color guide, had a fantastic time creating a “crazy tree” as they called it. I’ve attached a photo for you to see!”
I personally am amazed that 5-year-olds made this. These kids have some serious coloring skills!
I would say the success of this project could be attributed to:
• Good oil pastels. Ones that are extra soft, to create that rich color.
• Patient coloring. No white spots can been seen anywhere!
• Neat mounting of the panels. I know that lining up those panels can take some time, but it really pays to do it neatly so that no corners are sticking up to distract you from the look.
Some recently scrounging through my media library turned this mural up, and so I thought it deserved to be brought out again!
