How to Draw a Sea Otter

Learn how to draw a sea otter floating on his back, and holding hands with another. Turns out that’s how they keep from drifting away when they sleep.

Some animals just naturally lend themselves to larger ideas about what it means to stay together. The fact that these mammals often hold each others hands to keep from floating away from each other while they sleep on their backs, could be used for much more than just a science report. The sweet idea and image could make a really touching card for someone too. (Mother’s Day comes to mind, for example.)
