Mosaic Pumpkin Art

This mosaic pumpkin art with tape means there no need for messy glue. More importantly, all the pieces lie nice and FLAT.

Anyone who has tried before to make a mosaic with paper, knows how hard it is to keep things neat and tidy. Working with tape eliminates all that, and just leaves a smooth surface. And all the colored tape that is available these days gives you lots of options too.

My recommendation is to use black paper for the background to create lots of contrast. Card stock works well because you need something stiff to keep all that tape smooth.

DIRECTIONS
1. Pull off 6″ or 7″ strips of green tape and cut into angled pieces. Start by applying green across the bottom of the paper. Leave spaces in between.
2. Pull off 6″ or 7″ strips of orange tape and cut into angled pieces. Make a circle and fill, leaving space in between.
3. Pull off 6″ or 7″ strips of blue tape and cut into angled pieces. Fill in the background with the blue, leaving space in between.
